This home, built in the mid 1980's lacked a distinctive sense of personality and identity, nothing special to distinguish its lumbering sense of the ordinary. To create a unique and stylishly relaxed visual statement an extensive "make-over" was the obvious directive. New wall finishes, furnishings, art and accessories were chosen--all of them complementing a Tuscan, or Northern Italian influence.
